Entering ECatsBridge Events

How it works !

You can play the event virtually on BBO, RealBridge, BCL (for most events) and StepBridge or Face to Face - it's entirely up to you.

Once you have decided which event you want to play in and which day you want to play... well all you need to do is to click here to email Anna

and give her the following details

Start off by emailing us and tell us :

a. the name of your club
b. where you are located - the town and country
c. the email address you need the file sent to
  and (very important)
d. which day you want to play

And we will send you the deal files - some sets will be 28 boards, others are 32 but we will let you know at the time. We can also add travellers, the commentary file and the analysis of the hands for checking PROVIDED you are not playing in the event and also provided you promise faithfully not to let them escape from your computer until they have appeared on the ECatsBridge website.-

After you have played the event you need to create the results files - you can send us the old c, p, r and e text files if that's easy or generate the XML file (which you will need to do if you are running a virtual heat) and send it to us at results@simpairs.com. All the details for uploading the files to BBO and for sending us the XML are here - please note that when you send the XML the subject line must be the session number and your country and NOTHING else. And please only attach the XML file - just one !

The commentaries will be available on the website at 10pm on the evening of each event - please make sure that you don't send them out or put them on your own site before then and if you are uploading the results to your own site, please don't show the hands and frequencies until then either.
